  • Climate: Mexico is a country with a great climatic diversity. The geographical position of the country places it into two distinct areas separated by the Tropic of Cancer. This parallel would ideally divide the country into a tropical region and a temperate region. However, the topography and the presence of the oceans have a major influence in the formation of the Mexican climate map.

  • Food:The main and most famous dishes are the tacos, barbacoa, guacamole, tortillas, the sopes. The most popular drink is tequila, derived from the Agave plant as aguardiente, mezcal. There are also more exotic dishes, cooked in the Aztec or Maya style, with rather unusual ingredients such as iguanas, rattlesnakes, deer, monkeys, spiders and even some kind of insect; these dishes are known as comida prehispánica and, although not very common, however, are relatively rather known.
